Sintered pads are almost entirely metallic and are fused using heat and pressure, resulting in a resilient and porous material that delivers consistent braking performance across the pad's usable temperature range and in all weather conditions.

EBC's Double-H sintered brake pads provide a stronger initial bite than organic pads thanks to their high coefficient of friction, while their high-metal-content construction delivers exceptional durability and long service life. Unlike many competing sintered pads, Double-H pads contain no iron powder, eliminating the risk of pad material bonding to the brake rotor due to corrosion.
