The Shoei RF-1400 Scanner Helmet continues the legendary legacy of SHOEI’s RF line, refined over nearly four decades of innovation. Built for road riders who demand performance and comfort, the RF-1400 platform was introduced in 2021 and extensively tested in SHOEI’s wind tunnel facility to perfect aerodynamics, ventilation, and stability.
Designed with six intake vents and four exhaust outlets, the helmet promotes efficient airflow to keep riders cool while reducing drag and upward lift compared to the previous RF-1200 model. A newly engineered airtight window beading system provides a wind- and waterproof seal for the shield, while the CWR-F2 shield delivers distortion-free visibility and protection from harmful UV rays. The centrally located release button allows smooth and intuitive shield operation.
Constructed from multiple layers of fiberglass within a Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ shell and paired with a dual-layer multi-density EPS liner, the RF-1400 Scanner offers advanced impact protection with a lightweight feel. The exclusive 3D Max-Dry Interior System II absorbs and disperses moisture twice as fast as conventional nylon liners and is fully removable and washable for long-lasting comfort.
