Like the box of Arm & Hammer in the back of the fridge, it wouldn't be a "real" workshop without a bottle of Permatex on the shelf. 

Permatex’s classic Anti-Seize recipe is a highly refined blend of aluminum, copper and graphite lubricants. Use during assembly to prevent galling, corrosion and seizing due to weathering or chemicals. Anti-Seize assures easier future disassembly of parts in extreme environments. The effective temperature range spans -60°F to 1600°F (-51°C to 871°C). Permatex Anti-Seize resists salt, corrosion and moisture and is ideal for marine use. Recommended applications include anchor pins on brake assemblies, U-bolts and spring bolts, hinges, gears, chain, sprockets and rollers.
